Who Am I?

My name is Dwight Allen Druick, and I am a registered psychiatric social worker and an experienced CBT therapist, trainer, and clinical supervisor. I have been providing psychotherapy services to individuals (teenagers, young adults, and adults), couples, families and groups for over 26 years and am an adjunct lecturer and clinical supervisor in the Queen’s University Department of Psychiatry.

I have worked in academic, hospital, community mental health, employee assistance programs, and private practice settings and am now pleased to be offering brief and ongoing, online, CBT to clients across the Province of Ontario. I also provide clinical supervision for students in social and health care placements, psychiatry residents, and certified health care practitioners.

The services that I offer are covered by most extended health benefits programs and, as of January 1, 2023, my online rates are $135 an hour for individuals; $155 an hour for couples; and $180 an hour for families and groups. In person rates are $150, $165, and $195 respectively.

My clients have described me as caring, curious, compassionate, and even a little wise. If that’s so, the wisdom certainly comes from the hundreds of clients that I have had the privilege to work with over the last 26 years. I have learned a great deal from acting as their guide to self-discovery.
