I am a licensed psychotherapist in Kingston, Ontario, and I understand how some situations in your life seem to be much more challenging than others. Over the years, I have seen that having someone gently help us find our own way through tough times can make all the difference in the world.
CBT involves working together to identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Sadness, fear, anxiety, anger, and loneliness are never easy to bear – but, by practicing CBT, you can develop a new perspective on your life and new strategies to help you to face its challenges in a more balanced, confident way.
CBT is not a lengthy process. This therapy can take anywhere from a few to a dozen or so sessions with tune ups at 3 and 6 months.
